Day 1: Dublin city
Let your airport transfer take you to your beautifully appointed, city centre hotel. We will request an early check in so you can settle in and rest after your flight.
After you’ve freshened up, take a walk to Trinity College where you will find the famous Book of Kells Exhibition in Trinity College. Oh, and don’t worry about long lines! We’ll organise a Fast Track Pass for you.
Once you’re finished walking along the cobbled stones of Trinity College, you will be taken on a private guided walking tour of Dublin City Centre where you’ll get to see the best sights the city has to offer.
Day 2: Dublin city
On the second day of your Irish vacation, you’ll visit Kilmainham Gaol; Kilmainham Gaol imprisoned many of Ireland leaders throughout the Irish War of Independence and has been at the centre of Ireland’s history since the foundation was laid in 1796.
Your next stop will be the Guinness Storehouse – the home of the Black stuff, the heart of Dublin and an unforgettable start to your Irish adventure. Once you’ve made it through the interactive experience, you’ll be rewarded with a pint of perfection in the world-famous rooftop Gravity Bar. In the evening, sit down and relax in Dublin’s oldest pub – The Brazen Head. Experience storytelling, Irish music and delicious traditional Irish pub food.
Day 3: Killarney
It’s time to hit the open road with your driver guide!
Make your way out of Dublin and visit the Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary. The county of Tipperary itself is a lovely market town and a great place to stop for some lunch or coffee.
Interested in seeing an Irish castle? Head to Cork and visit the famous Blarney Castle, kiss the Blarney Stone, inherit the gift of the gab and once you’re finished, enjoy some shopping in the Blarney Woollen Mills.
Day 4: Killarney
Take a drive along the famed Ring of Kerry. Absorb the raw beauty of one of the countries most scenic peninsula routes and prepare to experience Skellig Michael – a rocky island with an abandoned 7th century Christian Monastery and the film location of the last two Star Wars movies!
Day 5: Kerry to Galway
Say goodbye to Kerry and hello to County Limerick – the home of the restored Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Drive through the Burren – a rocky nature reserve which boasts unique archaeological sites, and head for the coast where the stunning Cliffs of Moher await.
The Cliffs of Moher are situated along the Wild Atlantic Way and a trip to the West of Ireland wouldn’t be complete without paying a visit to these world-famous cliffs.
Settle into your hotel in Galway city centre and have a well-deserved rest.
Day 6: Galway city
Galway City is one of Ireland’s most vibrant and colourful cities; full of artistic poets, wild traditional musicians and locals who are famed for their food and hospitality.
Embrace the culture heart of Ireland with its street entertainment and renowned Irish pubs or taste deluxe Irish whiskeys on The Whiskey Trails Tour. Looking for some down time? Stroll along the beach of Salthill – just a short walk from Galway city centre.
Day 7: Wicklow
On your last full day of the ultimate 7 day Ireland itinerary you will head east towards Dublin and take the day to explore the ancient Boyne Valley, the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East.
Visit Newgrange – an extraordinary monument pre-dating pyramids, wander along the site of the famous Battle of the Boyne and explore Monasterboice – an early Christian site complete with a round tower and a 10th Century High Cross.
On your final day, enjoy the 45 minute drive to Dublin airport for your flight home and bring your memories of Ireland with you!
